Vernisha Moncherie

Vernisha Moncherie is a dedicated student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at the University of the People.
She has also obtained certificates in Human Biology and Behavioural Health at the same institution, demonstrating her commitment to building a strong foundation in health and science. With a background in accounting, Vernisha worked with the Ministry of Finance for eight years as a Clerk/Cashier , where she received comprehensive training in accounting and obtained several certifications, including Light Sparc Training (ACCA F1, F2, F3 Certificates), Train Post UPU (cost accounting certificate) as well as On-the-Job Training in IPS, CDS, and EAD posts.
In June 2022, Vernisha expanded her career into forensic science by joining the St. Lucia Forensic Science Laboratory as a Forensic Assistant. She has since undergone specialized training in forensic photography, case documentation, microscopy, expert witness testimony, and bloodborne pathogen safety. Passionate about forensic science, Vernisha is excited to continue honing her skills and contributing to the field.
