Tamara Sifflet-Henry

Tamara Sifflet-Henry is a Saint Lucian born woman who currently serves as a Forensic Drug Chemist with the Saint Lucia Forensic Science Laboratory. Mrs. Henry graduated from the London Metropolitan University, London with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Forensic Science in 2007. Immediately after, she completed a Master of Science in Forensic science from the London Southbank University, London in 2008.
Mrs. Henry returned to Saint Lucia in 2010 to take on a role as a science teacher at the St. Joseph’s Convent Secondary School. In 2012, she joined the Saint Lucia Forensic Science Laboratory as a Forensic Drug Chemist tasked with the analysis and reporting of seized drugs cases.
She is a focal point person for the Saint Lucia National Early Warning System (EWS) and the Drug Information Network (DIN). These systems were developed to recognize and document drug trends, and alert on drug-related threats on the island of Saint Lucia and the Caribbean region by extension.
Mrs. Henry has a drive for leadership and coaching and is a member and trainer of The Sifflet Group, a networking company which exists to train, empower, coach, and build individuals in critical areas of their lives. Currently she serves as the Supervisor of the Drug Chemistry Unit of the Saint Lucia Forensic Science Laboratory, a unit which she leads to ensure maximum productivity, whilst maintaining international standards. As the Unit Supervisor, Mrs. Henry always seeks to improve methods and procedures to ensure sustainability for the Saint Lucian and regional environment. She is also a virtual mathematics and science tutor.
