Lavena Mathruin

Miss Lavena Mathurin was born in the community of Derniere Riviere Dennery on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. She is a graduate of the Clendon Mason Memorial Secondary School where she achieved 5 CXC subjects.
Miss Mathurin entered the Saint Lucia Government Public Service in February 2014, as a Domestic Assistant attached to the Adjudicator’s office. Her career path within the government service has seen her perform similar functions at various departments in the Ministry of Justice.
In 2017 she was assigned to the Saint Lucia Forensic Science Laboratory as the domestic assistant. She remains at the laboratory to date. She ensures that the plant is cleaned and well kept; Ms. Mathurin also assists with the duties of the Office Assistant in his absence.
Miss Mathurin is an active member of the Lab’s social activities committee and has an extra love for food preparation and catering. She spends her spare time helping others, dancing, and cooking.
