SLFSL Explorer Programme
The Saint Lucia Forensic Science Laboratory (SLFSL) Explorer programme is designed to introduce secondary and tertiary level students to the fascinating world of forensic science and the diverse disciplines encompassed within it. Through this programme, students will have the opportunity to engage in short lectures and hands - on activities led by real - life analysts and examiners representing different divisions of the SLFSL.
The programme aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of forensic science by offering practical experiences in various scenarios. Students will actively participate in collecting and testing evidence, gaining valuable insights into the different forensic disciplines practiced at the SLFSL. The hands - on nature of the programme is intended to support students in developing essential skills relevant to the field of forensic science.
The Explorer programme is usually held twice yearly, in July and December.
The following items need to be submitted to the St Lucia Forensic Science Laboratory if you are interested in joining our internship programme.

3. Three references with contact information
(These references will be interviewed to understand the character and work ethics of the applicant to the Explorer programme)
NB: A background check may be requested from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force on any applicant if the character references indicate any situation or association meriting further insight.
